Let’s be honest: the best photoshoots are always the ones filled with genuine fun. Have you ever tried looking effortlessly cool while striking a golf pose, mid-swing, with a professional photographer’s lens trained on you? Trust us, it’s harder than it sounds.
In order to look like golf pros, the best models know that a perfectly timed shot in a photoshoot involves a whole lot of holding, adjusting, and, well, more holding.
Behind the camera, the photographers work their magic, capturing every moment with precision. But getting the perfect shot is no small feat—multiple takes, angles, and even a little bit of creative improvisation are needed.
But, even though everyone is serious about creating the perfect image, there's no shortage of laughs between takes.
The Setup: From Dream to Reality
"The Founders Club in Sarasota, FL was generous enough to host us for our Spring 2025 line photoshoot. Beautiful grounds and a charming clubhouse were surpassed only by the generosity of the staff who were incredibly accommodating of our needs. It isn't everyday that a golf apparel line cast and crew makes use of the property but we felt truly welcomed and taken care of throughout the day.
Today, there exists a new traditional golf club, inspired by one of the first recorded introductions to golf in the US. Brought to Sarasota by John Gillespie, long respected as a founding influence on Sarasota, the incredible game of golf and its traditions are celebrated at The Founders Golf Club."
It’s early morning at the picture-perfect The Founders Club in Sarasota, FL. The Donald Ross team has spent months curating the Spring 2025 Collection, making sure every piece embodies the season’s vibe. As the crew sets up the equipment, the models practice their swings, making sure their poses are just as sharp as their putts.
The truth is, the location is just as important as the models, the camera crew, and the clothes for a photoshoot! Donald Ross Sportswear is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with The Founders Club on this project:
